Start with the layout
Tiles divide a floor into manageable pieces. They can be useful for irregular rooms and for replacing one damaged section. Rolls create longer continuous runs with fewer joints, which can suit larger open studios.
Consider access and preparation
Measure doorways, lifts and storage space before deciding how the material will reach the floor. Both formats need the subfloor assessed for level, moisture and cleanliness. Do not assume a new surface will correct an uneven slab.
Plan around equipment
Separate cardio, machines and free-weight areas in your brief. Include equipment weights and expected use, rather than choosing by appearance alone. Ask our team to confirm the product thickness and installation system for each zone.
