Define the play space
An indoor activity room and an outdoor play structure have different needs. Describe the equipment, age group, cleaning routine and exposure to sun and rain before comparing materials.
Explore the materials
Rubber and EPDM ranges offer different formats and finishes. Virgin-PVC interlocking tiles are available at 8 mm and support custom colours and print enquiries. PVC may be laid over an existing dry, level floor, subject to preparation advice.
Request safety evidence
Do not treat a soft feel or bright colour as proof of fall protection. Ask for the product-specific testing required for the equipment and intended use. Confirm outdoor suitability and drainage explicitly.
Plan cleaning and maintenance
